Streaming Server

Should you wish to make teaching material  available to your students in the form of audio or video streams, the University of Frankfurt offers a stream upload service.

You need an HRZ-account to access this service. The procedure is as follows:

1. Prepare your videoclip (it should have the appropriate format, for example .mov, .rm, .wmv -- never use an .avi-format)

2. On the upload page (link see below), enter your HRZ-account information and check the copyright box.

3. Upload your videoclip:

4. After the streaming administrator has checked and approved your videoclip, you will receive the corresponding URL which you can bind into your homepage or into a course in your learning management system.

At the moment, the streaming server interface is available only in German. We hope that an english version will be available soon.
