The Kompetenzzentrum Lernsysteme (Competence Center Learning Systems) takes care of the central learning platforms and e-learning systems of the university, advises students and employees individually in all issues concerning the learning platforms and offers free workshops for teachers and teaching assistents.
 | OLAT (Online Learning and Training) is an open source learning management system (LMS) for interactive learning and work that was developed at the University of Zurich. OLAT is a promising and modern platform which offers a great deal of flexibility for students. |

 | LON-CAPA is both a learning platform and an international learning network. LON-CAPA is especially customized to the needs of the natural sciences. Since the winter semester 2008/2009, the introductory lectures in Physics have been accompanied by LON-CAPA courses. |

 | BSCW (Basic Support for Cooperative Work) is a virtual environment for work in teams. It allows groups to setup a common work area, to save and manage documents, to engage in discussions about pertinent topics, to make appointments and much more. |

 | The Helix Streaming Server allows users to upload learning material in the form of video streams. These can be either be presented as a link in a website or played back with an embedded video player.
