OLAT (Online Learning and Training) is the central
Learning Management System of Goethe University.
Many teachers use OLAT to offer digitally supported
teaching (as enrichment or blended learning).
Please note: Tuesdays between 8:30 am and 10:30 am is
Update time in OLAT. During this maintenance period the learning management
system may not be available.
Should OLAT not be available outside this period,
please write an email to: lernsysteme@rz.uni-frankfurt.de
You log in to OLAT with your HRZ account (login and
password).

You can find courses using the Search button in the First steps portlet on the OLAT home page or using the search bar at the top right. Courses that have been registered for entry in the OLAT catalogue can also be found via the Catalogue tab.
Click on the course and enrol, provided that self-enrolment is possible. Otherwise,
the course administrators will do this for you.
To withdraw, click on the Teach & Learn tab
and then on My groups. Then switch to table view in the top
right-hand corner. Under the Actions heading, you can leave the relevant
learning group and thus the course. You can also withdraw from a course via the
enrolment element in the course, provided this option is activated.
As a student, you have various options for
organising and supporting your learning processes with OLAT.
You can customise the OLAT home page so that, for example, you can
You can create your own working groups that are
not linked to a course, where you can learn and work with others. Each working
group has access to group tools such as folder, email, forum, calendar, wiki
and blog.
You have the option of creating an ePortfolio
to document and reflect on your own learning processes. You can share the
ePortfolio with selected individuals for viewing.
